My Rubi... Maury Birdwell |

I purchased my silver Rubicon a few months ago, and I love it! I immediately took the Warn
M8000 winch off our YJ and slapped it on the rubi. That was the only modification it had for
Memorial Day weekend when I took her up to Disney. She was a little small compared to all the
rigs up there, but she still fared well on all the trails we ran.
So far modifications are as follows:
Warn M8000 winch on Warn mounting plate, Bulletproof front bumper, Wilderness rear swing-away
bumper/tire carrier with axe, shovel, and hi-lift jack mounts. Procomp 8" driving lights on
windshield hinge mounts, new sound system (Alpine head unit, Boston Acoustic pro-series
components up front, BA 5.25" in the sound bar, Rockford Fosgate 6.5" sub in the console).
Nothing too incredible but it works, and all I did was utilize space the existing sound system
took up.

Near future modications:
Rubicon Express 4.5" long-arm kit, 35"x12.50" X-Terrains, black Rockcrawler wheels.
I am currently accepting donations for the lift if anyone is feeling especially generous.
We'll be taking her up to Colorado soon. Hope nothing expensive breaks...

Fourwheeling for me:
"A great excuse to hang with the boys, spend all night working on your cars fixing
insignificant things that aren't really broken but could be "better," then going out, breaking
them, and learning just how significant they really were."
