"That picture was taken the day I got my rig back after the expensive mods were done; you know, the ones under the chassis and around the axles. My wife still thinks it was only $7,000 so I haven't told her the real number. She's been tolerant so far... Anyway my friend Larry (a 30-year veteran of 4-wheeling) coaxed me into hitting Rowher Trail. When I got back and plotted the GPS track on the map, I realized we had just driven up and then down two different firebreaks. There is no fire engine I've seen that could make those trails. And the difficult one was going down. Engine braking was just barely enough with both lockers on, but the lift and tires proved their worth. No metal scraping on the bottom this time."
