Ramp Travel Index (RTI)
 . It was Winter's last attempt to make its presence felt, as the mercury dipped in the minuses in spite of the weather forecast. We were well prepared for the cold, or so we thought, as the ramp was dragged indoors to begin our testing at Rover Cannibal in downtown Oklahoma City. We were foiled however, by an all-too-smooth concrete floor offering little grip for our vehicles' rubber boots, and we opted to brave the elements and venture outside. .
.
We had an excellent gathering of people, existing members, several recent new members, and delighted to see some that came to see what the group was all about. We talked a bit about upcoming events, then tested our trucks, and afterwards revived ourselves with a superb hot lunch hosted by Ryan Richardson of Rover Cannibal.

RTI scores indicate one thing only - articulation. While it has some bearing on a truck's off-road ability... (Click Here for more info from our RTI day in Tulsa, Nov. '02)

The results below show the subtle differences between each truck's set-up. It was another example of a stock Rover out-performing a lifted truck.
